Due to Dr. Maddahi's vast expertise, he can advise you on how to combine cosmetic dentistry with plastic surgery for the best possible result and with the least amount of pain or post-op recovery.

As with much plastic surgery, there is a certain amount of artistry needed in cosmetic dentistry to be able to see a patient and envision the right end product that will create a beautiful and natural smile. Through years of experience, training, a natural artistic inclination and with the help of cosmetic simulations, Dr. Maddahi is able to view a patient's current teeth, plan the right treatment and follow through until the desired result is achieved.

We use "Shade Vision" technology for near-perfect color matching of crowns. A picture is taken of the tooth to be matched and the image is color mapped on the computer and emailed to the lab technician. This gives a better than 90% color accuracy. In addition, we have our own porcelain oven to correct a shade that is not quite right.

If we are not fully satisfied with the shape of a crown, we will shape and burr it until it fits in naturally with the rest of the teeth.
